The Misery score is the sum of the taxes shown in the colored bars, at the highest marginal percentage in each locale. It's our best proxy for evaluating whether policy attracts or repels capital and talent. The countries at the top of the chart impose the harshest taxes while those at the bottom are the most tax friendly. The Reform column reflects a reduction in misery (a negative number highlighted in red) or an increase in misery in the past year. In most of the world local governments are usually funded from property taxes, which aren't part of the Misery Index.

I do not think the Chinese Government is losing a war over Internet.
On the contrary, the Communist party propaganda officials are winning the war because the vast majority of the Chinese (both educated urban elites, for example, Chinese students in the West, and 900 million rural peasants in China) support the Chinese government's blocking of the Internet. In this sense, the party successfully brainwashed both the older and younger generations of Chinese. There is a very tiny group, such as well-known dissidents and human rights activists like Liu Xiaobo or Uighur, Tibetan and Mongolian intellectuals who oppose the restrictions. But they have no support of the vast majority of the Chinese. Therefore, claiming the Chinese government is losing a war over Internet is INACCURATE.

Four months into a crusade against Internet pornography, the government is closing thousands of sites—some pornographic, some not—and tightening rules on who can register Web addresses inside China.

Foreign sites such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, blocked by censors in the run-up to the 60th anniversary of Communist Party rule on Oct. 1, remain inaccessible to most Chinese users. Several prominent critics of the state who used the Internet to spread their message have been detained or imprisoned.

Yet this list of casualties obscures a larger truth: The censors ...

        For my part,sometimes having the courage to show your indifference to your great future is not a kind of weaknesses you need to worry about. We humans are only humans ,right?One needs time to recover himself after one gets tired not only in body but also one's mind;we need time to rearrange and restart again.We modern people seem to have overlooked  this  for a long time  as a matter of being too blinded by greed.In addition, we may have forgotten what  'ernergetic' or "willing' really means to our efficiency ,our comfort and  our big concern----- health.

        We come to the world for joy and happiness.It's a tragedy that when we step further and turther on our way to the beatiful goals one by one,we lose more and more which we should have grabed to store our sense of satisfaction to live, just for some ridiculous reasons! Don't you forget what is actually counts during your living ages,whatever you want to achieve in your life.

        Money,status,beauty,fame,wealth,health.......
